David Schwimmer Is Refusing to Alter His Controversial New Film 'Trust'
David Schwimmer is refusing to alter his controversial new film "Trust" even if he loses his fight to secure the movie a lower age rating, insisting regulators need to update their "old" system. The "Friends" star steps behind the camera to direct Clive Owen and Catherine Keener in the harrowing film about a teenager lured to a motel for sex by an online predator old enough to be her father.
The swearing and adult themes landed the movie a restrictive R-rating in America, meaning viewers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Schwimmer and his team are fighting for a lower age rating to make the movie more accessible, and he is adamant he won't be pressured into making any changes.
He tells Deadline.com, "There is no nudity, no overt sexuality other than what needed to be implied for a scene in the hotel room where we learn that a rape took place. I think the scene was tastefully handled. The idea that Clive's character should respond by shouting 'Fiddlesticks' is just not real. Let's face it, kids have heard and seen it all."
And the actor/director insists he's frustrated by the way the industry is regulated, adding: "What I find frustrating is there are plenty of films that get PG-13 that are so violent. There is a double standard. You can't show nudity or hear the F-word, but you can show people being blown to bits and chopped up. Maybe a public forum will show that the ratings system needs to be updated to reflect the times. It is quite old."
"Trust" hits theaters in the U.S. on April 1, 2011.
A brand new trailer of 'The Lincoln Lawyer'
A brand new trailer of "The Lincoln Lawyer" sheds more light into complex story than the teaser released last month. Not only Matthew McConaughey's character is trying to dig the truth about his client but also he has to stop his family from being involved in his latest case.
Mickey Haller (McConaughey) is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln sedan. Haller has spent most of his career defending garden-variety criminals, until he lands the case of his career: defending Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe), a Beverly Hills playboy accused of rape and attempted murder. But the seemingly straightforward case suddenly develops into a deadly game of survival for Haller.
Based on a best selling novel by Michael Connely, "The Lincoln Lawyer" boasts a number of other A-list actors such as William H. Macy, Bryan Cranston and Marisa Tomei. It would be released wide in the U.S. on March 18, 2011.

'The Sing-Off' Season 2 Ended with Committed Being Crowned The New Winner
"The Sing-Off" season 2 ended with Committed being crowned the new winner. The six-man group from Alabama beat out Street Corner Symphony for the title on Monday, December 20 finale, taking home $100,000 in cash and a recording contract with Sony Music.
"We owe all this to God and our friends and family," Therry Thomas, lead vocalist for the group said, adding they would start touring soon. Host Nick Lachey had a difficulty in breaking them from hugging the runner up and received the trophy. He said later, "Savor this moment."
During the two hour finale, Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town were eliminated first but they got to sing with Sheryl Crow in "Long Road Home" and Nicole Scherzinger in "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". Lawson said, "It's been a wonderful, wonderful experience for me. There were no winners and losers because all of us sang a great style of a capella."
Then it was The Backbeats' turn to meet the chopping block. The group earlier that night teamed up with Sara Bareilles in "King of Anything" and joined Crow as well as Talk of the Town in their collaborative performance.
In their final performance, Committed sang the Michael Jackson featuring Akon song "Hold My Hand" while Street Corner Symphony picked Coldplay's "Fix You." The two finalists also backed up Neil Diamond on a performance of the classic "Ain't No Sunshine".

That night, Fabio won his three straight immunities including the coin-stacking challenges. He also won fellow survivors' sympathy when giving a tribute to his family in the Tribal Council. In his opening statement on the final Tribal Council, Fabio said he was "himself" while Chase chose to boast about being the one who outwit and outplayed everybody else.

The Second Part of 'Fans Ask Glee' Has Come out
The second part of "Fans Ask Glee" has come out and the cast reveal more about themselves outside the popular show. Jane Lynch, who did not appear in the first part, took turn this time to reveal her funniest line in the show so far.
Lea Michele then was shot with a question whether she likes a "short and curly haired" kid and she gave a nod, adding "braces" to the list. Cory Monteith revealed that the funniest person on the show is co-star Chris Colfer. "He's got this wit. You say something 'bam' and he 'bam' like that," the actor said while flicking his fingers.
All the cast, including Amber Riley, Dianna Agron and Jenna Ushkowitz admitted that they were geeks in high school. "I think somebody is a geek someway to somebody at school," Riley reasoned. Colfer, who got his first Golden Globe nomination this year, said he looks up to Lynch and then joked that everybody else has to look up to him.
Beside the fans Q & A, there's a video coverage of the cast teaming up with American Express to educate children in underprivileged schools in Los Angeles. They helped 5th graders to express themselves in music and donated a sum of money to help the education.
"Glee" returns on screen February 6.

Jessica Alba Took Notice of One Particular Stay-at-home Mom
Jessica Alba took notice of one particular stay-at-home mom who gained popularity through her blog and Twitter feeds. The actress works with CBS TV Studios to develop "Mother of All Something" which script is written by mother of three, Kelly Oxford.
Oxford has more than 67,000 followers on Twitter and a heavy traffic on her blog which was created back in 1997. She mostly writes her view of various things like pop culture and current events. Her latest tweets include one-liners like "At night, my iPad becomes an expensive flashlight" and "I've been to two U2 concerts. Not really a fan, I just like to feel like I'm in a really long Coke commercial".
However, Oxford who will be named a supervising producer on the project said that it won't be based on her tweets because she wrote the script last Spring and sold it to CBS months ago. Alba will be the executive producer along with "Will & Grace" alumna Jhoni Marchinko who is also in charge of supervising the pilot.
The Eye has been expanding its horizon to find the source for a good TV show. It successfully launched "$#*! My Dad Says" which is based on Twitter feeds and has ordered for two other pilots, namely "Dear Girls Above Me" and "Shh... Don't Tell Steve".
The Cancellations of 'Stargate Universe' and 'The Good Guys'
Although it's no surprise, the cancellations of "Stargate Universe" and "The Good Guys" are only made official now. After weeks of speculation, Syfy announced that it won't order a third season of "SGU". As for "The Good Guys", a Fox TV Studios spokeswoman has just confirmed the axing to Dfw.com.
The second season of "SGU" which consists of 10 episodes will air as the series' last in Spring. "SGU" is the third "Stargate" franchise which is canceled after "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate Atlantis". Syfy is keeping "Warehouse 13", "Eureka" and "Haven" in addition to premiering "Being Human".
The network had previously also ended "Battlestar Galactica" prequel "Caprica" and announced a new project called "Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome". The new project focuses on the early years of William Adama and takes place in the 10th year of the first Cylon war.
Meanwhile, "Good Guys" is not returning for a second season after a series of low rating. It debuted last Spring with 4.93 million viewers but the number declined down to 3.42 million on Friday nights. The 20th and last episode of the cop dramedy aired on December 10.
Janis Burklund of the Dallas Film Commission had another way to put it. "The Good Guys wasn't canceled," she wrote on Facebook. "They completed and aired all the episodes that were ordered. Unfortunately it appears Fox isn't going to order a second season. May seem like the same thing, but it's not. Still bummed regardless of course."
Glenn Close Has Undergone A Transformation for 'Albert Nobbs'
Glenn Close has undergone a transformation for her upcoming movie "Albert Nobbs". The 63-year-old star was hardly recognized when she was recently spotted on the set in Dublin, Ireland as her blonde hair is darker and shorter and her curve is hidden under male vintage suit.
In the film, Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actress Close plays an English woman who disguises herself as a male so she could land a job as a butler in 19th century Ireland, when woman with no husband or family and without work would face a bleak life of poverty and loneliness, taking the name of Albert. After hiding the secret for years, Albert is inspired to try and escape the false life she has created for herself.

Jon Favreau Confirms He Is Not Directing 'Iron Man 3'
Jon Favreau is not going to return to the next "Iron Man" film. Following a report first brought into attention by Vulture that he will not direct "Iron Man 3", the filmmaker has confirmed that the news is indeed true. "It's true, I'm directing Magic Kingdom, not Iron Man 3. I've had a great run with Marvel and wish them the best," Favreau just tweeted on December 14.
While the helmer "is excited about the opportunity to go do his own thing", Kevin Feige as the ultimate custodian of Marvel's "Iron Man" franchise "sees it as an opportunity to bring some more fire to the franchise," Deadline Hollywood said. Marvel is said to have begun the search for a replacement.
Vulture reported, some industry insiders speculate Favreau's fee might be too high for Marvel and thus they do not seal the deal with him. Moreover, the studio reportedly "had been pushing a confusing and packed vision of the third film as a tactic to provoke Favreau into leaving the project". In fact, when recently speaking to MTV about the third "Iron Man" film, he said he had "no idea what it is."
"Iron Man 3" currently still has no script and would start filming as early as 2012 for it is only due May 3, 2013. Robert Downey Jr. is attached to reprise his role as Tony Stark aka Iron Man.
Jon Favreau, who directed both "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2", has just completed "Cowboys and Aliens". His next project "Magic Kingdom" is developed for Walt Disney Pictures.
Nicolas Cage Has Already Lined up His Next Project
Still in the production of "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance", Nicolas Cage has already lined up his next project. The Hollywood Reporter (THR) says the 46-year-old actor is on board for the lead role in action movie "Medallion", which will be financed by Millennium Films.
Cage will portray a father, a former master thief, who has only a few hours to find his daughter when she is kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a New York medallion taxi cab. Clive Owen and Jason Statham were linked to the project at one point.
Set to serve behind the lens of the upcoming movie is Simon West, who has previously directed Cage in 1997 "Con Air". Meanwhile, former Us Weekly journalist David Guggenheim, who writes "Safe House" to be starring Denzel Washington, provides the script for "Medallion". Matthew Joynes, Jesse Kennedy and James Holt team up to produce with Avi Lerner, Danny Trevor, Cassian Elwes and Mary Viola executive producing, THR further reports.
Nicolas Cage has several films waiting to be released such as "The Hungry Rabbit Jumps", "Trespass" and "Drive Angry". Before that, he can be seen in "Season of the Witch" which has been pushed back from its original release date of March 19 this year to January 7, 2011.

Emma Watson Gets Her First Role
Emma Watson gets her first role after completing the production of "Harry Potter" film franchise in "My Week with Marilyn". Now the first picture of her in the biopic has emerged via Daily Mail. It shows her as her character Lucy, an assistant in the wardrobe department at Pinewood studios in 1956, sporting a wig which has bangs and standing among some clothes.
"My Week with Marilyn" has Michelle Williams taking the lead role of Marilyn Monroe. The movie is based on the diary of Colin Clark who was Laurence Olivier's assistant who looked after Monroe when she arrived in London to film "The Prince and The Showgirl".
Portrayed by Eddie Redmayne, Clark flirted with Lucy as much as possible in between takes. He described Lucy as "one of the prettiest little girls I have ever seen in my life... slim as a wand, curly brown hair, huge brown eyes and a wide cheeky grin." Clark also gushed that Lucy kissed "like an angel" in his book.
Rounding up the main cast are Kenneth Branagh as Olivier, Judi Dench as Dame Sybil Thorndike who co-starred Monroe in "The Prince and The Showgirl", Dominic Cooper as Milton Greene who was Monroe's business partner and a co-producer of the 1957 film.

Supernatural Film '11-11-11's First Teaser Poster and Synopsis
The man behind "Saw 2", "Saw III" and "Saw IV", Darren Lynn Bousman, takes on another horror film with "11-11-11" which was announced earlier this year. Now some hints to the movie have come out with the release of plot details.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the plot says, "After the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone travels from the United States to Barcelona, Spain to reunite with his estranged brother Samuel and dying father, Richard. However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings, and the constant sightings of the number 11."
"Curiosity quickly turns to obsession, and Joseph soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion. Isolated in a foreign country with only the support of his companion, Sadie, Joseph soon realizes that 11/11/11 is more than just a date, it's a WARNING!"
A teaser poster for the movie has also been released, containing a warning, "Mark the date. You can't stop what's coming." Meanwhile, on the film's official site, a series of lines appear on the screen with the most spooky one saying that "on the 11th day of the 11th month of 2011 a gateway will open" and "something's coming through."
Bousman writes the script of "11-11-11" himself and is currently in Barcelona, Spain to prepare the principal photography in January next year for November 11, 2011 release date in the U.S. However, there is still no word on who are cast in the supernatural flick.

Jason Alexander Is Set to Return to U.S. TV
"Seinfeld" star Jason Alexander is set to return to U.S. TV - the funnyman is in talks to develop a small screen drama about a struggling actor. Alexander is in negotiations with CBS network bosses to develop, produce and star in a new hour-long series, according to trade paper Variety.
The as-yet-untitled show reportedly centers around a struggling actor who joins his ex-wife's detective agency, and then becomes an expert in disguise by using his acting skills. Alexander last starred as a sports show host for "Listen Up" in 2005 and has since guest starred in programmes including "Criminal Minds" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine".
He also recently appeared with fellow Seinfeld castmates in an ongoing storyline on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" - 12 years after the hit sitcom went off the air.
'The Hasselhoffs' Fired After Only Two Episodes
Viewers just lost interest in "The Hasselhoffs" and A&E is not waiting until the rating sinks. The docu-reality series, which follows David Hasselhoff's attempt to help his daughters in the entertainment world, is off the network's schedule after airing only 2 episodes.
The debut episode drew a mild 718,000 viewers and the second at the next hour plunged to 505,000. For comparison, A&E recently also premiered a new series called "Storage Wars" which actually has less star factor than "The Hasselhoffs" because it's about professional buyers purchasing storage units that have been foreclosed on. "Storage Wars" drew 2 million in its debut.
The premiere saw the Hoff playing golf with his friends, reminiscing about "Knight Rider" with his dad Joe and performing songs on an open top bus in San Diego. There was also him getting a hot dog named after him, him walking off the set of a commercial, and him confiding to the family dog about his addiction to caffeine.
Another kind of cut also happens at NBC. "Love Bites" which is yet to premiere is given only 9 instead of 13 episodes order. Although the dramedy had been marred with troubles in the past including the delay to midseason 2011, the reason NBC reduces its order is not for creative reasons.
Deadline reports that NBC bosses are happy with the episodes they have seen but they are running out of shelf space for midseason. There are at least 9 new and returning series which are waiting in line and "Love Bites" happens to be one of those which are yet scheduled.
The Most Quiet Finale in 'Apprentice'
In perhaps the most quiet finale in "The Apprentice", 30-year-old Brandy Kuentzel came out as a winner. This season Donald Trump gave people who have been affected by the latest recession a second chance to make a decent living through the competition. The finale on Thursday, December 9 came down to Brandy and Clint Robertson.
In the final task which was aired in two parts, Brandy organized a VIP golf tournament featuring Kathy Griffin while Clint arranged a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli. Both had a successful run but Trump criticized Brandy for her poor choice of prize given to the attendants. Trump was not happy with the way Clint oversaid "y'all" which made him "unpolished".
However, it looks like the final decision was made based on the finalists' visions of their future in the Trump company. "I would really learn a lot from you and I think that maybe, maybe I could teach you something along the way," Brandy said, adding that she'd like to work with his children because they are "the next generation of the Trump name."
Meanwhile, Clint left Trump unimpressed when saying, "I would go anywhere you told me to go in the world and I would love it, because I'd be learning under you." Trump said both of them deserved the spot in the final but had to admit that Brandy is "outstanding". He said, "I want to congratulate you Brandy" before turning to Clint and said "Clint you're fired."
Brandy said after the announcement, "Here I am with everything I had hoped to gain out of this entire experience and it's just... I can't even describe how amazing it is. I am the next Apprentice. I'm just so excited."

Ryan Gosling Blasts 'Black Swan'
Ryan Gosling has accused U.S. film censors of sexual sexism after ratings officials slapped his film "Blue Valentine" with a restrictive NC-17 rating for an oral sex scene, while playing down a similar racy moment in Natalie Portman's new film "Black Swan". The star admits he's "surprised and confused" by the hard rating and he can't understand why Portman's girl-on-girl oral sex didn't attract a similar ruling.
He tells WENN, "There's plenty of oral sex scenes in a lot of movies, where it's a man receiving it from a woman - and they're R-rated. Ours is reversed and somehow it's perceived as pornographic. Black Swan has an oral scene between two women and that's an R rating, but ours is between a husband and his wife and that's NC-17?"
Angry Gosling insists there are many more movies that feature graphic violence and sex scenes that get less restrictive ratings than his new movie. He adds, "You start to think, 'How is it possible that these movies that torture women in a sexual context can have an R rating but a husband and wife making love is inappropriate.' "
"A lot of people think, 'What's the big deal if it's NC-17, the kids under 17 can't see it,' but that's not true. What it really means is it can't play in a major theater chain and you can't have ads for the film on television. It stigmatizes the movie in a big way. What we're really saying is not that our kids can't see this movie but nobody can see this movie unless you live in a big city and there's an art house theater."

The Producers of 'Dexter' Said They Were Going to Give One Shocking Finale
When the producers of "Dexter" said they were going to give one shocking finale that no other shows had ever done, they were not kidding. [Spoiler Alert] Rita Bennett aka Dexter's wife and one of the major characters in the serial killer series has been killed off and no one saw that coming. Clyde Phillips was available to explain.
In an exclusive interview with the executive producer, EW threw the burning question of why it was Rita who should take the fall. To this Phillips said, "The story evolved and it kind of became inevitable. We knew that we had to do more than kill Trinity. It's a little bit of a corner that we paint ourselves into. Last year we tried to avoid that and actually I think we didn't do as well as we could have." Clyde added that they had to raise the bar as Trinity's death would be inevitable.
On the Sunday, December 13 finale, Rita was supposed to hop on a cab and head to romantic gateway when she forgot her ID. She ended up being murdered in the bathtub by Trinity while baby Harrison was left crying in her pool of blood. This image mirrors Dexter's traumatic childhood when he watched his mother died before him and was soaked in her blood.
Julie Benz, the actress who played Rita, is said to be unhappy with the character being killed off. "She loved being with us. We loved having her with us. She took it... professionally. She was greatly disappointed. She's a professional. She works in television. She knew that this was a possibility," Phillips revealed. He also could not confirm whether Rita will be back as a ghost in future episodes.
For one thing, the writers actually had an alternative ending that eventually was not picked. "While Dexter was packing to leave, he saw on the television that a child murderer had just escaped from prison. Either escaped or fallen thru the cracks. So he's thinking, 'Do I join Rita on vacation or do I...' and then he looks towards the camera and he has this big decision," Phillips elaborated.
Rita's death is not the only shock in the finale. Deb found out that Dex is related to the Ice Truck Killer and whether she will find out Dex's alter ego, this would be the cliffhanger for season 5. Showtime has not arranged a date for the return but traditionally, it will begin around September.

Summit Entertainment Drops The First Trailer for 'The Beaver'
As it was promised, Summit Entertainment drops the first trailer for "The Beaver" on December 3. Making its way out via Apple, the video follows Mel Gibson's Walter Black who was once a successful toy executive and family man but now suffers from depression.
Plagued by his own demons, Walter can't seem to get himself back on track no matter what he tries, until a beaver hand puppet enters his life. While he finds his spirit in the beaver, Walter's family want the loving man back, not the beaver.
Two-time Academy Award winners Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster star as a couple in this film that picks up an emotional story about a man on a journey to re-discover his family and re-start his life. Foster also directs the drama comedy, which is aimed for 2011 spring release in the U.S.
First Stills From Sundance Films
Following the announcement of 2011 Sundance Film Festival line ups, several films which will have their premieres at the festival have released the first official images. Those which have shared the images include in-competition films "Higher Ground", "Homework", "Here" and "Martha Marcy May Marlene", as well as out-of-competition "Margin Call".
A directorial debut of Vera Farmiga, "Higher Ground" stars the "Up in the Air" actress herself as a frustrated young mother who turns to a fundamentalist community for answers. But after years of dogma and loss, she must find the courage to ask the questions that will help her reclaim her life.
"Homework", directed and written by Gavin Wiesen, puts Freddie Highmore and Emma Roberts on the leads. It follows quirky, rebellious George who has no ambitions other than to cut his next class. But one day, one girl gives him the perfect reason to figure out who he really is.
"Here" is directed by documentary filmmaker Braden King with the script provided by King and Dani Valent. 'Spider-Man' Musical Failed to Win over Theatre Critics
Troubled Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" failed to win over theatre critics following its first preview performance on Sunday, November 28, after the production was marred by technical glitches.
The show, directed by Julie Taymor and featuring music by U2's Bono and The Edge, has finally crawled to the stage for preview performances after suffering numerous setbacks as producers scrambled to solve a series of technical and safety issues.
The musical, which has cost more than $65 million to stage, was performed for the first time at the Foxwoods Theatre on Sunday, in front of reporters and 1,800 paying audience members. And critics are already issuing harsh reviews ahead of the musical's official opening date next January, with one writer at the New York Post calling the production an "epic flop".
The reviewer wrote, "Not even Spider-Man could avert this disaster. Last night's opening preview of Broadway's most expensive production ever, 'Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark' was an epic flop as the $65 million show's high-tech gadgetry went completely awry amid a dull score and baffling script."
A New York Times critic detailed the night's technical glitches, adding, "The show stopped five times, mostly to fix technical problems, and Act I ended prematurely, with Spider-Man stuck dangling 10 feet above audience members."
A critic from the New York Daily News also claimed, "A fifth stop an hour into Act II caused some theatergoers to walk out," but was hesitant to write off the musical entirely, adding the audience "called it a surefire smash hit despite some kinks".

Eva Longoria Develops Three TV Projects
Eva Longoria is back on the working saddle after her divorce announcement from Tony Parker. The "Desperate Housewives" star is producing three small-screen projects, joining forces with "Cold Case" star Kathryn Morris in one and going under her Unbelievable Entertainment in the other two.
Together with Morris, Longoria is developing a Texas border town soap titled "Sendera". According to Deadline, it is a "modern day Shakespearean drama about two wealthy families, one from Texas the other from Mexico, locked in a struggle for power, land, sex and legacy."
Sally Robinson who got an Emmy nomination for 2004 TV movie, "Iron Jawed Angels", is set to write the script. She is also to produce along with Morris, Alan Barnette, Virginia Trinkle and Longoria. The soap opera is in the works at ABC.
Meanwhile, ABC Studios is also working on "Parenting by Committee" with Unbelievable. It follows four single women "who find their lives completely changed when one discovers she is having a baby. The four proceed to raise the boy without a man via parenting by committee." The single-camera comedy comes from the writers of webseries "First Day", Alyssa Embree and Jessica Koosed.
The last project brewing under Unbelievable is a potential mini-series for Starz, executive produced by Alfonso Arau. Called "Aztec", it's an 8-part mini-series based on the best-selling book by Gary Jennings. The drama, which script is written by "The Odyssey" scribe Nicholas Meyer, is set in Tenochtitlan during its empirical height just prior to its fall to Spanish invaders.

Britney Spears' Appearance in Hit TV Show 'Glee'
Britney Spears' appearance in hit TV show "Glee" triggered indecency complaints from viewers who branded the episode "extremely inappropriate" and "sexually provocative". The pop superstar made a cameo appearance in the musical in an episode which aired in the U.S. in September, and newly released documents from America's Federal Communications Commission reveal the program attracted a series of grievances about the "sexual" nature of some of the scenes.
One of the letters processed by the watchdog, obtained by Thesmokinggun.com, brands the episode "obscene and indecent", while another slams the nudity and the highly sexual content of the show, calling the episode "extremely inappropriate and sexually provocative".
A number of the complaints call for schedulers to move the series to a post-watershed slot to keep the saucy scenes from kids.

The Idea to Add 3-D Technology to The Next 'Transformers'Film Is Teasing
The idea to add 3-D technology to the next "Transformers" film is teasing, but it gives an extra homework to Michael Bay. Rumor has it, the helmer is having problem with some scenes of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" which are shot using 3-D camera.
" 'Avatar' set the standard very high for 3-D films and even though some of the best people in the 3-D business were brought aboard for TF3 but with Michael's quick, aggressive style of shooting without any real past experience has caused hiccups," an insider tells IESB. The helmer is reportedly trying to salvage the footage that was shot, but still the insider claims, "The 3-D looks like shit and we don't know if we will be able to use all of it the way it is."
Though so, there is reportedly no plan to reshoot the scenes. Instead, the footage that do not meet the standard that was expected are now in the hands of pros in the 3-D post production houses. This means the native 3-D footage will have to go through some of the same conversion techniques that are undergone by 2-D footage which are going to be converted into 3-D.
Still, there are allegedly positive things to be expected from "Transformers 3". Some sources have told IESB that the FX work is very good and that the plot is far better than "Transformers" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen".
"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" will have Shockwave as the major villain. Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson are some of the main cast returning to the third movie, while the newbies include Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Patrick Dempsey. The action sci-fi flick is due July 1, 2011 in the U.S.
