Eva Longoria is back on the working saddle after her divorce announcement from Tony Parker. The "Desperate Housewives" star is producing three small-screen projects, joining forces with "Cold Case" star Kathryn Morris in one and going under her Unbelievable Entertainment in the other two.
Together with Morris, Longoria is developing a Texas border town soap titled "Sendera". According to Deadline, it is a "modern day Shakespearean drama about two wealthy families, one from Texas the other from Mexico, locked in a struggle for power, land, sex and legacy."
Sally Robinson who got an Emmy nomination for 2004 TV movie, "Iron Jawed Angels", is set to write the script. She is also to produce along with Morris, Alan Barnette, Virginia Trinkle and Longoria. The soap opera is in the works at ABC.
Meanwhile, ABC Studios is also working on "Parenting by Committee" with Unbelievable. It follows four single women "who find their lives completely changed when one discovers she is having a baby. The four proceed to raise the boy without a man via parenting by committee." The single-camera comedy comes from the writers of webseries "First Day", Alyssa Embree and Jessica Koosed.
The last project brewing under Unbelievable is a potential mini-series for Starz, executive produced by Alfonso Arau. Called "Aztec", it's an 8-part mini-series based on the best-selling book by Gary Jennings. The drama, which script is written by "The Odyssey" scribe Nicholas Meyer, is set in Tenochtitlan during its empirical height just prior to its fall to Spanish invaders.

Britney Spears' Appearance in Hit TV Show 'Glee'
Britney Spears' appearance in hit TV show "Glee" triggered indecency complaints from viewers who branded the episode "extremely inappropriate" and "sexually provocative". The pop superstar made a cameo appearance in the musical in an episode which aired in the U.S. in September, and newly released documents from America's Federal Communications Commission reveal the program attracted a series of grievances about the "sexual" nature of some of the scenes.
One of the letters processed by the watchdog, obtained by Thesmokinggun.com, brands the episode "obscene and indecent", while another slams the nudity and the highly sexual content of the show, calling the episode "extremely inappropriate and sexually provocative".
A number of the complaints call for schedulers to move the series to a post-watershed slot to keep the saucy scenes from kids.

FOX came second with "Night at the Museum" which absorbed 6.65 million viewers.

The Idea to Add 3-D Technology to The Next 'Transformers'Film Is Teasing
The idea to add 3-D technology to the next "Transformers" film is teasing, but it gives an extra homework to Michael Bay. Rumor has it, the helmer is having problem with some scenes of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" which are shot using 3-D camera.
" 'Avatar' set the standard very high for 3-D films and even though some of the best people in the 3-D business were brought aboard for TF3 but with Michael's quick, aggressive style of shooting without any real past experience has caused hiccups," an insider tells IESB. The helmer is reportedly trying to salvage the footage that was shot, but still the insider claims, "The 3-D looks like shit and we don't know if we will be able to use all of it the way it is."
Though so, there is reportedly no plan to reshoot the scenes. Instead, the footage that do not meet the standard that was expected are now in the hands of pros in the 3-D post production houses. This means the native 3-D footage will have to go through some of the same conversion techniques that are undergone by 2-D footage which are going to be converted into 3-D.
Still, there are allegedly positive things to be expected from "Transformers 3". Some sources have told IESB that the FX work is very good and that the plot is far better than "Transformers" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen".
"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" will have Shockwave as the major villain. Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson are some of the main cast returning to the third movie, while the newbies include Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Patrick Dempsey. The action sci-fi flick is due July 1, 2011 in the U.S.
'Spider-Man' Never Rehearsed in Full
Troubled Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark" encountered a last-minute problem on Saturday, November 27 when the production's only full rehearsal was canceled ahead of its first preview performance on Sunday, November 28.
The play, directed by Julie Taymor and featuring music by U2's Bono and The Edge, has suffered numerous setbacks in recent months as producers scrambled to solve a series of technical and safety issues and the launch date was recently pushed back until January 2011. But the show, which cost more than $65 million to stage, had its only complete run through scrapped this weekend - and will instead be performed in its entirety for the first time on Sunday, in front of reporters and 1,800 paying audience members, reports the New York Post.
An industry insider tells the publication individual scenes, which include an array of aerial stunts, had been rehearsed, but the cast and crew had yet to go from start to finish prior to Sunday night's debut at the Foxwoods Theatre.

For 2011, Warner Bros. Pictures has prepared at least two horror thrillers, "Final Destination 5" and "The Apparition", to treat moviegoers. Now the studio has given early taste of both films by releasing the first stills.

Kristy Swanson Hopes Can Cast in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' Reboot
Original "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" Kristy Swanson wants a bite of the franchise's next revamp - despite creator Joss Whedon publicly denouncing the project as "a sad, sad reflection on our times". The actress is best known for playing Buffy Summers in Whedon's 1992 film which spawned the hit TV franchise, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar in the title role.
Whedon has blasted plans for a new big screen installment, criticizing studio bosses for failing to come up with fresh ideas. But Swanson insists she would love to appear in the reboot, which she believes can survive without Whedon.
She tells Entertainment Weekly, "Let Buffy live; why not? If they wanted me to be a part of it, I think that would be fantastic and that it would be a blast. There are die-hard Joss Whedon fans who absolutely love him to death, and rightly so. He's a brilliant man, no doubt. I love everything Buffy. I don't care who's doing it."
Tim Burton Hopes Fans to Write Stainboy Story
Tim Burton is writing a new story for his superhero character Stainboy - with a little help from his fans on Twitter.com. The moviemaker's animated character first appeared in two poems in the book "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy", and later featured in a series of short films titled "The World of Stainboy", in 2000.
Now Burton wants to expand his creation's story - and he's asked his followers on microblogging site Twitter to write the plot. Fans can 'tweet' a 140-character sentence to the "Alice in Wonderland" director's account, and the best one will be selected each day and posted online to show readers the story as it develops.
The experiment, which launched on Monday, November 22, will run until December 6. It is not known if Burton has any future plans for the storyline.
Hermione and Ron's Scene in 'Deathly Hallows: Part 2' Unleashed
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" just stormed out in theaters worldwide late last week and now the talks have moved on to the follow-up. In a junket interview, Emma Watson is believed to have spilled an added chase scene (one which is not in the book) in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II".
The depicter of Hermione Granger reveals during the final battle in Hogwarts, there will be a scene where [SPOILER ALERT!] her character and Rupert Grint's Ron Weasley are being chased by Lord Voldemort's snake Nagini. The short-haired star then realizes she has given away too much after mentioning the particular part.
Despite having wrapped up the production for two parts of "Deathly Hallows" which are filmed back to back, some main cast will be back to the set to reshoot epilogue scenes. Tom Felton recently says he, Daniel Radcliffe, Watson and Grint were called to work for "Harry Potter" for one more day in December to reshoot the scenes.
In "Deathly Hallows: Part II", the battle between the good and evil forces of the Wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. This last "Harry Potter" film is planned to hit 3-D theaters on July 15, 2011.

Genuinely, my life was boring before I went on TV and instead now I've got lots of friends."

Angelina Jolie's Movie's First Official Look and New Reports
Angelina Jolie has been working on her directorial debut lately and the first official picture from the movie has been shared. Making its way out via Vasarnapi Hirek (via The Playlist), the image features lead actress Zana Majonovic and Goran Kostic. The site additionally has some behind-the-scene photos of the film.
To the site, Jolie has also been willing to explain a lot about the love story set during Bosnian war. One of the highlights is the actress-turned-helmer's consideration to transfer the movie to black and white while it is shot in color. "It's shot in color but it could transfer to black and white. We haven't decided that," she states.
"I can show you... we put a series of pictures together in black and white and it was beautiful," she adds. "But the important thing I want to make sure that we make a film for people who just want to go to the movies to watch a love story. To not be put off by anything that seems too heavy. So we want to walk that fine line to make it accessible to everybody because it's important for as many people to see it."
The 35-year-old beauty goes on revealing that she films the movie in two languages, English and the native language of the actors involved. "We actually shot a full version in their native language and we shot a full version in English. We shot two complete films. I was only able to do it because the actors were so fluent in English so they were willing to work hard and do the scenes in two languages," she shares.
As for which version that will be released, Jolie says different territories will have the option of what version they want to hit theaters. However, she still has not decided when the movie will be released. But once she finishes the production, she will head to Los Angeles and edit the film there.
The untitled Angelina Jolie project is said to focus on "a couple who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship." There were controversies about plot details which recently forced Jolie to cut down the amount of time she planned to spend shooting the movie in Bosnia from ten days to just five.

'Deathly Hallows: Part I' Tops Box Office
Warner Bros. Pictures once again has had their glorious moment at North American Box Office with beloved franchise "Harry Potter". The latest film of the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I", debuts atop the chart with an estimated $125.1 million.
The number marks the franchise best bow, surpassing the previous record holder "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" which raked in $102.7 million on its opening weekend in 2005. "One of the greatest accomplishments here is that we have been able to age the franchise," says Warners domestic distribution president Dan Fellman on the movie. "We have been able to keep our fan base as the characters have aged and the movies have become darker. And the three main actors have become really terrific, adult actors."
"Megamind", which ruled the chart for two straight weeks, is now pushed aside to the second place with an estimated $16.2 million revenue. "Unstoppable" still follows the animation on the the third place, adding an approximately $13.1 million cume.
"Due Date" also drops one place from the third to the fourth with an approximately $9.2 million gross. Meanwhile, another newcomer "The Next Three Days" has a not-so-strong debut, entering box office at number five with an estimated $6.8 million despite the fact that it has Russell Crowe starring as the lead character.

Simon Cowell Angrying about Claim 'X Factor' Is Fixed
Simon Cowell has lodged a formal complaint with Britain's media watchdog over allegations his hit U.K. TV show "The X Factor" is fixed. The music mogul has seen his singing competition plunged into controversy during its current season amid claims the voting system is engineered to keep certain acts on the program.
The gossip came to a head this week with the publication of a report which suggested Cowell is aware of the results of the crucial weekly viewers' poll in advance - and he is furious at the allegation. Cowell is adamant "The X Factor" judges are never given advance information about voting patterns, and his legal team has lodged a formal grievance with Britain's Press Complaints Commission (PCC) about the new report.
An "X Factor" source tells WENN, "Simon accepts there will always be a certain amount of criticism from viewers over which singer is eliminated each week, but he feels these rumors of a fix are getting out of hand. He is always keen to make sure the show is as fair as possible, so to be accused of fixing the vote is too much. Simon wants to put a stop to the rumors, and taking his case to the PCC is the obvious way to achieve this."
Bristol Palin Excited She Goes Through to The Final Round of 'Dancing with the Stars'
Instead of sinking low with harsh comments thrown at her, Bristol Palin is excited that she goes through to the final round of "Dancing with the Stars". Palin escaped the butcher's knife earlier this week although she scored the lowest among four semi-finalists. The daughter of Sarah Palin received the necessary back up to qualify her through the audience vote.
A lot of people have since criticized the show for being a competition of popularity instead of dancing skill, and even accused the voting of being rigged. But Palin thought she deserved the place, saying "I know I've worked hard to get where I am. I definitely feel like I'm the most improved dancer on this show - so I'm comfortable with that."
The 20-year-old also told Us Magazine that she was so shocked at the recent result where Brandy was sent home. "I'm thrilled! It hasn't fully sunk in for me," she said after the show. "I know we're in the finals, but it doesn't seem real yet."
But her professional partner thought Palin in the final is not something so shocking anymore. "It's not as crazy as when Sabrina Bryan went home, or [when] Joanna Krupa went home. Or Jennie Garth going home, or Mel B not winning. ...same story, different day, you know?" Mark Ballas said.
In the final next week, Palin would be challenged to a freestyle, judges' least favorite dance and favorite dance of the season.

Kristen Stewart Not Attached to 'Martyrs' Remake
The remake of Pascal Laugier's "Martyrs" is moving forward with Daniel Stamm hired to serve behind the lens, but Kristen Stewart will not be involved in the project. In an interview with Los Angeles Times, the filmmaker denied that the "Twilight" beauty will star in the American version.
"(It's) the first time I've heard that," the "The Last Exorcism" director says when asked about Stewart's casting report. As for how he will translate the French horror for new audience, Stamm explained, "Martyrs is very nihilistic. The American approach [that I'm looking at] would go through all that darkness but then give a glimmer of hope. You don't have to shoot yourself when it's over."
He also gushed on the story's appeal, telling the site, "Every time you think you know where it's going, it goes somewhere else. It plays on things that are familiar - like two friends who can't be separated, kind of a Forrest Gump and Jenny situation. But then it takes a turn, and in doing so asks interesting questions. 'If you have a best friend in the world and she goes crazy, how much do you owe this friend to go down with them?' It's much more than a horror film."
Pascal Laugier's "Martyrs" is a dark and violent tale centering on two teenage girls, Lucie and Anna, who establish a friendship, until one of them inexplicably goes on a murderous rampage to avenge what may or may not have been earlier incidents of child abuse. When the movie was released in 2008, it became a hit in Europe.

Blaine is here to stay. Darren Criss has struck a new deal with FOX TV to appear throughout the second season of "Glee" and would possibly become a regular next year. Creator Ryan Murphy confirmed the deal to AfterElton but a representative of Criss told THR that the deal is not "formal" although "it appears he will be a series regular".

"Darren has become such a sensation in one week, which I love," Murphy told AfterElton at 39th Gala for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center over the weekend. "I think there's a hunger for him and a positive relationship role model. He'll definitely continue through the year and longer. We just signed a deal with him."
When asked whether Blaine would be Kurt's boyfriend, Murphy replied, "I don't know. That I have not decided. We're writing it. I want to see what people's reaction to that is. Part of me thinks he should be the boyfriend, part of me thinks he should just be the mentor. I didn't want to decide that until we got into sort of the middle of the season. We're figuring it out now."
Criss returns in this week's episode called "The Substitute" where Gwyneth Paltrow guest stars as Holly Holliday.

Leah Remini Reduces to Tears on Her U.S. TV Chat Show 'The Talk'
Actress Leah Remini was reduced to tears on her U.S. TV chat show "The Talk" on Thursday, November 11 when she was united with a U.S. soldier she had been in contact with while he was serving in Iraq. The "King of Queens" star was marking Veterans Day in the States by recalling how she had been exchanging emails with Sergeant Jonathan White after he wrote to a fansite for her hit TV show.
She explained, "I was contacted by Sergeant Jonathan White... through a fan website for the 'King of Queens'... So he contacted them and they contacted me and this soldier asked for a banner. He said if I could just send (them) a banner... we just need to know that people support us."
"It says, 'We love and support our troops', and I went to area schools and got people to sign it, I signed it, my daughter signed it, and I just thought how selfless these soldiers are because they also asked for soccer balls... to hand out to the Iraqi children, and it really, really touched me that these guys care so much."
Remini admitted she had never met White, but would "love to" one day see him face-to-face. And she was left stunned when co-host Julie Chen surprised her by welcoming White to the stage, prompting Remini to break down in tears as she hugged the army sergeant.
White paid tribute to the TV star for her ongoing support of the army, telling the audience "Leah's supported us for 15 months and simply put, thank you for making a difference." And Remini's fellow presenter Sharon Osbourne had a special surprise of her own in store for the soldier, after learning he was a big fan of her rocker husband Ozzy Osbourne and was planning to attend his upcoming concert in Tacoma in Washington state.
She told White, "Any friend of Leah's is a friend of Ozzy's and he's heard about you and you're gonna be his guest at the side of the stage with as many people as you want, however many of your friends you wanna bring. Bring them all!"

Little Issue about Demi Lovato's 'Sonny with a Chance'
Since Demi Lovato entered rehab last week, there was little issue about her TV show "Sonny with a Chance", until now. Last month, Disney has told the cast and crew that production is set to resume in mid-January. But now the production is "in jeopardy" since the lead star is still going through a personal problem.
The teen sitcom went on a hiatus in July so that Lovato can spend time with Jonas Brothers promoting "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam". Lovato had been going down the road with the band for a national tour where Lovato eventually met the problem. She allegedly clashed with one of the dancers in the production and was involved in a physical altercation with her.
When asked what Disney would do in case Lovato is not ready for the January production, the network's reps told TMZ, "The health and well-being of Demi comes first and if we have to make other plans, we will."
"Sonny with a Chance" is still airing its second season on Disney Channel. There will be a holiday special on November 28 called "So Random Holiday Special" where Lovato's ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas guest stars as himself.
'Dancing with the Stars'Is Preparing for Same-Sex Couple
After the Israel version of "Dancing with the Stars" paired two women in the competition, the U.S. version is inspired to do the same. The support comes from judge Carrie Ann Inaba as well as one of the most famous openly gay celebrities out there, Portia de Rossi.
When asked whether same-sex couple would materialize, Carrie told People, "I would love it. I fully support that and I think America is ready for that. Our country is much more accepting of same sex couples and it would be great for the show to reflect that."
The first celebrity that came to the bosses' mind is Ellen DeGeneres' wife. Ryan Seacrest talked to Portia on his radio show and said, "They're planning to feature a same-sex couple. You're at the top of the list." Portia was startled and replied, "Goodness, you really do break news." But she is taking it into consideration. "I'm not gonna pass, let me think about it," she told Ryan. "I used to be a ballet dancer, it's not completely a pass. You never know."
Carrie herself is pro the idea of having Portia although she has no knowledge whether it can come true or not. "I don't cast the show," she said, "but I think it would be great and I'd show up in my rainbow colors and fully support it."
Disney Plans to Turn Another Theme Park Attraction into A Movie
Disney plans to turn another theme park attraction into a movie. Called "Magic Kingdom", the project is about to get its helmer. According to Deadline Hollywood, Jon Favreau is currently in talks to direct the movie, which was first conceived two years ago.

Four Sneak Peeks to The Annual 'Treehouse of Horror'Episode
FOX has unleashed four sneak peeks to the annual "Treehouse of Horror" episode of "The Simpsons" which is airing this Sunday, November 7. Among the pile is the clip where Daniel Radcliffe's vampire saves Lisa from an approaching bus. "I play a Twilight-inspired vampire who befriends and falls in love with Lisa. It's actually the culmination of my life so far. It's everything I have been living for! There was a time when I was 12 or 13 when 50 per cent of everything I knew about the world came from The Simpsons so this is a big deal."

Eli Roth Lashes out at Advertising Standards Authority Officials in Britain
Moviemaker Eli Roth has lashed out at Advertising Standards Authority officials in Britain who have pulled down scary posters for his latest movie "The Last Exorcism", insisting they should spend more time censoring the U.K. media. The watchdogs insist billboards advertising the film, which opened in Britain in September, are "likely to upset children" and they've called on marketing companies to remove them.
The ASA bosses claim they've received a number of complaints over the posters, which feature a young girl doubled over, her dress covered in blood. Roth tells WENN that movie bosses have already created "creepy and effective" artwork that will replace the original "Last Exorcist" billboard, and he has approved it - but he suggests the censors should stop worrying about movie advertising and address the "ubiquitous" British tabloids.
He says, "I do wonder why these people complaining about protecting their children seemingly have no problem with the ubiquitous tabloids which airbrush celebrities to unhealthily skinny or fat, often resulting eating disorders in many young girls. Then again, there are worse things that can happen to a horror film than to have a controversy over the poster being too disturbing."
